We carry out all forms of demolition, from the interior of an apartment or house to commercial surfaces. As demolition is the first stage in the act of renovation, it’s all the more important to have it carried out by a qualified company, so as to get off to a good start.
Replacement and repair of sanitary columns
In partnership with a local, qualified sanitaryware company, we replace your sanitary columns as a general contractor, i.e. from A to Z. In fact, we manage all the stages, so that you are relieved of the complexity of the work. We start by carrying out a diagnosis of hazardous substances, followed by clearance if asbestos is found to be present. We then open the corridor to gain access to the columns, the sanitary engineer replaces the technical parts, and we take care of closing the corridor and covering it with a so-called existing lining.

We renovate all types of apartment. All the paints we use are ecological and environmentally friendly, to protect the health and well-being of our staff and site occupants.
All our staff are also trained to intervene safely on lead-containing paints. We also intervene in the event of mold problems linked to thermal bridges (also known as “cold bridges”: phenomena that appear when there is an interruption in insulation). A visual diagnosis of the surface, joinery and ventilation system, using a thermal camera, enables us to determine the right method.
Our expert drywallers install your drywall
In renovation projects, soundproof and fireproof drywall is generally used to partition off a space, add a room or fit out attic space. We use gypsum plasterboard drywall, because it offers greater acoustic comfort. They are, of course, designed and executed in compliance with current SIA standards.
False ceiling installation in Geneva
A false ceiling is a ceiling suspended from the main ceiling. The purpose of a false ceiling is to improve the thermal, acoustic or aesthetic insulation of a room or corridor.
It can be made of lightweight materials such as plasterboard fixed to a metal structure, or mineral or wood fiber. Bertolit also offers thermal insulation of the underside of slabs in parking lots or attics as part of a CECB-approved thermal upgrade.

Bertolit can carry out some of the renovation work, but it can also work as a ‘general contractor’, which means taking charge of the entire project. For example, in the case of a renovation, we can just repaint the walls or carry out the complete renovation of an entire flat. Here are the different stages: we start by carrying out a diagnosis of hazardous substances, then any asbestos removal or pollution clean-up, followed by the demolition of partitions, old floor coverings, the kitchen and sanitary facilities, bringing the electricity and sanitary columns up to standard, then creating new partitions and false ceilings, renovating the kitchen and sanitary facilities, sealing the parquet flooring and applying new paint or wallpaper - all in record time and within the customer's budget.
